She was predeceased by: her close friend Gene Alger; her parents, Arthur Garrett-Perniciaro and Wilma Jewel Garrett-Perniciaro; her sister Juanita Halape; her stepfather Charles Perniciaro; and her grandchildren, Armando Escobedo and Stacy Cox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Kissee (David), Tamara Cox (Rick Guerrero), Tracy Cox and Christen Disbrow (Steve); her grandchildren, Amandalynn, Antonio, Jeremy, Jessica, Kristen, Branden and Tyler; and her niece BaBette. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, cousins, a niece and a nephew.
