It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susanne L. DeWitt of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Koonce and LaVerna Koonce; her sister Carolyn Koonce; her sister-in-law Peggy Koonce; and her nieces, Michele and Mary Koonce.
She is survived by: her son Wesley DeWitt; her siblings, Linda Carlton, Michael Koonce and Howard Koonce Sr.; her grandchildren, Kayla Johnson, Jason White and Layne DeWitt; and her great grandchild Rosalie Garcia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
