It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley (Regnier) M. Courtney of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Regnier and Marie Regnier; her husband Eugene F. Courtney; and her daughter Kelly Courtney. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Duerr (Bill), Karen Courtney, Colleen Russell (Carl) and Jeanie Hernandez; her grandchildren, Rachel Verhoeve (Scott), Marty Hernandez (Jessica) and Chuck Duerr (Christy); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Evelyn Verhoeve, Kaleigh, Raelyn Hernandez, Caden and Chayse Duerr. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area or to The Alzheimer's Association in her honor.
