She is survived by: her children, Michael Monroe (Jill) of Hammond, Matthew Monroe (Amanda) of Virginia and Mindy Sarlea (Jon) of Hammond; her grandchildren, Leilani Sarlea, Lane, Madeline and Bret Monroe; and her sister Judy Kirby (Fred). She is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
