He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Elizabeth Smith; and his parents, Everett Smith and Hazel Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Faye Smith; and his children, James Smith (Tracey), Cheryl Smith, Benjamin Rhea and Michelle Herrell (Ronald). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the New Life Christian Reformed Church (3010 Ridge Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
