He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Detterline and Lucille Detterline; and his sister Kathy McBride. He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Berdine (Rick), Lisa Cory (Jake) and Jennifer Havlin (Greg Guernsey); his grandchildren, Nicholas Berdine, Alex Berdine (Meghan Garcia), Alyssa Drinski (Mike), Brandon Cory (Kaylee), Johnathan Cory (Peyton Yelich), Zack Cory (Brylee), Kylee Havlin and Connor Havlin; his great grandchild Sawyer Drinski; his siblings, Al "Butch" Detterline (Nora) and Debbie Schuster (Terry); and his close friend Alaina Laskarin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the LaHayne Funeral Home (6955 Southeastern Ave, Hammond, IN 46324).
