With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Weaver of Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on June 12, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Weaver; her father James E. Wells; and her brother Donald Wells. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Wegrzyn (Steve) and Michael McMahan (Brooke); her mother Donna Wells; her grandchildren, Kate Rader (Joey), Lindsay Sisk, Mason Wegrzyn, Karrington Wegrzyn, Jeffrey McMahan, Jaxson McMahan and Bryce McMahan; and her siblings, Darwin Wells (Denise) and Belinda Britton (Greg). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
