She was predeceased by: her husband Ishmel Banks; and her children, Lisa and Larry. She is survived by: her sons, Melvin and Carl; her grandchildren, Latoya, Gina Ashley, Jasmine, Katina and Larry, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jasmine and Melvin; her niece Neeta Moore; and her caregivers, Michelle, Joyce, Anita, Gwen, Mamie and Herman A. Polk, Sr.. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope M B Church (1117 Merrill St, Hammond, IN 46320). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
