He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bakker and Helen Bakker; his siblings, Elliot "Butch" Baker, Joyce Herz and Emmelene Guritz; and his great grandchild Rylee Elaine.

He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his brother Don Bakker (Judy); his children, Michael Bakker (Kelly), Julie Gaines (Sean), Nickolas Bakker (Dawn), Justice Bakker (Laura), Nathan Padgitt (Brittany) and Danielle Smith (AJ); and his grandchildren, Amber Boger (Chris), Jessica Krutsinger (Kyle), Amanda Cooper, Anthony Bakker, Jake Rowen (Angelina), Reece Rowen, Madi Rowen, Brooke Minahan, Declan Bakker and Nick. He is also survived by 7 beautiful great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
