With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorrie A. Horst (Hammond, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Kemppainen and Patricia Kemppainen; her husband Donald Martin Horst; her daughter Jessica Layne Horst; and her siblings, Raymond Kemppainen (Pamela), Rodney Kemppaninen, Erick Kemppainen (Melinda), Craig Kemppainen (Sheene), Mark Kemppainen and Catherine Shepherd (Ambrose).

She is survived by: her children, Brian (Christina), Rencie Ruiz (Raymond), Nathan, Aaron, Kyle (Sandra) and Jasmine (Cory); her grandchildren, Josh, Jason, Delilah, Jordan, Matteo, Jylene, Juvia, Keilani, Keira, Trinity, Aaliyah and Kyandra; and her brother Michael Kemppainen (Anita).
