Lorraine R. Jewett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 90, Lorraine R. Jewett of Hammond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lorraine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Jewett; her daughter Cynthia Wiseman; and her sisters, Clara "Mickey" Morgan and Margaret O'Keefe. She is survived by: her son Thomas R. Jewett. She is also survived by five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bocken Funeral Home (7042 Kennedy Ave, Hammond, IN 46323). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
