She was predeceased by: her husband Francis "Gus" Hoess. She is survived by: her children, Frank Hoess (Angela), Jeanna Ivey (Scott), Mary Koscielniak (Robert), Joseph Hoess (Nirin) and April Sanchez (James); her grandchildren, Edsel, Sarah, Cameron, Heidi, Michael, Rebecca, Andrew, Augustin and Bethany; and her sister Elaine Grove (late Earl).
