He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his mother Guadalupe Herrera; his sister Theresa Chapa; his granddaughter Jordan; and his siblings, Frank Garcia and Sandra Sotelo.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly and Ryan; his grandchildren, Madeline and Maxwell; and his brother Gus R. Herrera (Helen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bocken Funeral Home (7042 Kennedy Ave, Hammond, IN 46323).
