As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Erickson and Carrie Erickson (Munson); and his brother Christopher Kinman. He is survived by: his son Patrick Erickson; his stepchildren, Vanessa Kinman and Mark McKeown; his former wife Victoria Figueroa; and his siblings-in-law, Valerie Kinman, Tom Kinman (Kim) and Amy Kinman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sonntag Funeral Home (1500 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
