He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; his sons, David and Christopher Hernandez; and his parents, Merced Hernandez and Guillerma Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Javier "Howard" Hernandez (Estella), Marilyn Stigall (late Ken), Gregory Hernandez, Susan Richardson (Tom), Steven Hernandez (Mona) and Laura Hernandez; and his grandchildren, Serena, Belinda, Angelica Hernandez, Anthony Richardson, Ashley Guerrero, Aaron Hernandez, David, Harrison Hernandez, Natalie Stigall, Jenna, Jeremy Richardson, Elizabeth, Anna Hernandez and Christine Hernandez. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
