He was predeceased by: his father Wayman "Webb" Porter. He is survived by: his mother Mary Porter of Owensboro; his wife June Porter of Crown Point, Indiana; his son James Wayman Porter II; his grandson James Wayman Porter III of Hammond; and his sister Lu Ann Geary (Lee) of Owensboro.
