He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, James Blair (Debbie) of Alaska and Kevin Blair (Almut) of Canary Islands; his granddaughter Erica Blair Reilly (Ron); his great grandchild Phoebe of Maine; and his sisters, Jeannette Hendrix and Helen Ables. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
