She was predeceased by: her husband Herman L Root; and her siblings, Dorothy Fox, Winnie Foster, Leland Chenore (Frog), Mickey Chenore and Wanita Miles.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Mau (Nabors); her grandson William M Mau (Teal); her great grandchildren, Hadleigh of Clarksville Tennessee and Bowen of Clarksville Tennessee; and her son-in-law William V Mau.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local food bank, as Jackie was always concerned about people eating.
