Hector Rosario Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hector Rosario of Hammond, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Hector may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hector touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Maria "Leni" Rosario; his sons, Ruben Anthony Rosario (Melissa) and Hector Luis Rosario (Yasmin); and his grandchildren, Isaiah Garcia (Emily), Miriah Rosario, Rafael Navarrete and Hector Joaquin Rosario. He is also survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Fife Funeral Home (4201 Indianapolis Blvd, East Chicago, IN 46312). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the St. John Cemetery (1547 167th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
