He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Houchin and Hester Houchin. He is survived by: his siblings, Jenny Nicpon (late Larry), James Houchin, Linda Eaton (Tom), Maggie Houchin, Kerry Pettit (late Jimbo) and Cindy Gordon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
