We bid farewell to Genevieve M. Duwar of Hammond, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Genevieve touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Hank Duwar; and her son Gregory Duwar. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Morgan (Jim) of Lowell, James Duwar (Louise) of Ohio and Becky Jasevicius (Victor) of Munster; her grandchildren, Keith Pieniazek of Michigan, Kari Ragin (Joseph) of Highland and Ashley Campos (Carlos) of Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Alexander, Xavier and Gabriella Campos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Hospice of the Calumet Area, an organization close to her heart.
