He was predeceased by: his son Steven; his parents, Robert and Elsie (Holt); and his siblings, Sterling, Carlene (Roy Edgar), Bertie (Sam) and Irma (Eddie).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Bobby (Dody) of Griffith, IN, Carl (Colleen) of Dyer, IN, Richard (Brenda) of Griffith, IN and Dennis (Mary) of Highland, IN; his grandchildren, Kyle Krause (Nicolle), Kim Russell, Amy Russell, Ben Russell, Nicole Russell and Rachel Russell; his great grandchildren, Theodore Krause, Lincoln Krause and Cameron Russell; his nephews, Larry Putman (Charlene) and Wil McGaha (Donna); and his friends, Alton, Charlie and Bill. He is also survived by several dogs, and a son.
In lieu of flowers donations in Freddie's honor to Hospice of the Calumet Area or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
