Duane A. Burke, age 67, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017. Loving father of Kimberly A. Holland, David A. (Kelly) Burke, Daniel D. Burke, and Mark E. Burke. Proud Grandpa of Alicia Burke, Zachary Burke, Mason Burke, and Olivia Holland. Brother of George "Butch" Burke. Fond uncle and cousin of many. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Dorothy Burke.
Duane graduated from Gavit High School. He retired after 30 years with UPS. Duane was a hard worker. He enjoyed restoring old cars and working in his garden. Duane is looking forward to being reunited with his dog Spuds. Friends are invited to celebrate Duane's life with his family on Thursday, June 08, 2017 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME , 6955 Southeastern Avenue, Hammond, Indiana.
