She is survived by: her children, Richard Helton (Renae) of Cedar Lake and Cathleen Schultz (Candy) of Hammond; her grandsons, Thomas Swafford (Erin) of Hobart, Derrick Helton of Cedar Lake and Douglas Helton of Crown Point; her siblings, Judy Johnson of Gary and Thomas Nordyke (Susan) of Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Swafford, Maddie Lams, Tyson Swafford, Johnnas White, McKenzie Helton, George Helton, Bruce Swafford, Skyler Swafford and Ricky Adam Swafford.
