He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Kiel and Dolores Kiel; and his siblings, Kathleen Greenwood and Denny Kiel. He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Simale); his children, Mike Kiel (Kim) and Karyn (Mark Neuwirth); and his grandchildren, Taylor Kiel, Tyler, Jacob and Kayla Skertich.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to AIM at Melanoma Foundation to support Dave's daughter Karyn as she continues her fight while raising awareness, something Dave was immensely proud of.
