It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Prahovich (Hammond, Indiana), who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Bobich and Joseph Bobich; and her godchild Thomas Shegich. She is survived by: her husband Steve Prahovich; her daughters, Lori Whelan (Michael) and Lisa Heglund; her grandchildren, Shannon Whelan, Lauren Heglund, Megan Whelan and Carson Heglund; her sisters, Patricia Winders (Richard) and Andrea Musgrove (Galen); her nieces, Stacie Anderson (Jim) and Traci Castillo (Alex); her great-nephews, Tyler Musgrove, Ethan and Alec Castillo; and her grandpup Millie.
In lieu of flowers, a Bishop Noll scholarship will be set up in Barbara Prahovich's name.
