He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Watson and Frank James Bay; his stepfather Ernest Watson; his grandfather Arthur Paschal Sr.; his brothers, Montral Miller, Todd and Van Watson; his uncles, Michael and Arthur Paschal Jr.; his cousin Terrence Williams Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Rogelio Guerrero, John Zambrana, Francisco Gamez III and Alicia Guerrero.

He is survived by: his wife Dalia James; his children, Twyla Johnson (Edwin), Jasmine McMichael (Darnell), Adam James (Tyanna), Anton James Jr. and Unique James (Ja'Shawn); his grandchildren, Edwin III, Elijah, Estella Johnson, Ja'Niyah, Daii'Jah, Darnell III, Jaz'Marie, Dah'Leah, Malakai, Ma'Kenzie Compton, Aliya, Adam Jr. and Ja'Shawn Bailey; his siblings, Romell, Nigel, Elliot (Linda), Ernest (Andrea), Bruce Watson (Amber), Henry James (Monica) and Precious James; his grandmother Ophelia Paschal; his cousin Shareen Williams; and his close friend Jermaine Stanley. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
