It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Shoffner of Hamlet, Indiana, born in La Follette, Tennessee, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Sterling and Hiley Katherine Shoffner (Hill); his wife Betty Lou Evans; and his siblings, Ben, Bud, Berry Shoffner, William "Butch" Martin, Cleo Taulbee, Walcie Wright, Charlie Shoffner, Martha Shoffner and Charlie Grimes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Davis (Robert) of Phoenix, AZ and Sharon Ratliff (Jerry) of Rolling Prairie; his grandchildren, Richard Gray (Meghan) of Queen Creek, AZ, Ryan Gray of Phoenix, AZ, Michael Gray of Denver, CO, Ross Ratliff of Rolling Prairie and Deanna Ratliff (Kirk Vincent) of Osceola; his great grandchildren, Clark Nicholas, Addison Rose, Lyra Ann and Stella Lynn; and his sisters, Della Parrish (Charles) of Hamlet, Helen Hatchel of La Porte and Viola Frederick of La Follette, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family members and friends.
