He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitley Howard and Anna Howard (Miller); his children, Sharon Button and Lloyd "Buster" Howard Jr.; and his siblings, Ruby Howard, Clyde Howard, Shelby Howard, Lewis Howard and Buck Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Montgomery) of Culver; his children, Teresa Spencer (Bobby) of Knox, Karen Howard of Knox, Debbie Crissinger (Alan) of Winamac, Connie Witt of Winamac, Geroge Howard of Knox and Lindsey Howard of Ohio; and his siblings, Susie Clinger (Rick) of DeLong, David "Skeeter" Howard (Dee) of Valparaiso, Tommy Howard of Kentucky, Wallace Howard of Ohio, Terry Howard of Ohio, Whitley Howard Jr. of Ohio and Tim Howard Jr. of Ohio. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren, 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
