He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Metcalf and Catherine Metcalf (Schroeder); and his siblings, Dennis, Virgil, Bernie and Sharon.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth R. Metcalf, Jr. of La Porte, Stephanie M. Watkins of La Porte and Donna L. Swedersky of La Porte; his grandchildren, Chad Horton, Carlie Metcalf, Skyler Harper, Alex Harper, Seth Metcalf (Stephanie) and Chase Swedersky (Terena); his former wife Kay Clanton of La Porte; his siblings, Gerald Metcalf, Terry Metcalf, Lawrence Metcalf (Phyllis) and Marlene Bedell; his sister-in-law Ann Metcalf; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center (2900 Monroe St, La Porte, IN 46350).
