We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 88, John R Slusher Sr. of Hamlet, Indiana, born in Salyersville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Slusher and Verna Brown (Penix); and his daughter Paula Mosser. He is survived by: his wife Barb of Hamlet; his children, Pamela Van Ness (Rob Cunningham) of Leesburg, Denise Dowd (Tony) of Knox, Roberta Salyer of Grovertown and John Slusher Jr. (Erin) of Huntersville, NC; his son-in-law Ed Mosser (Leigh) of Valparaiso; and his siblings, Lillie King of Muncie, Linda Shoemaker of Selma, IN and Ernie Slusher of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
