It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M Lawhorn (Hamlet, Indiana), born in Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzie "Clarence" Lawhorn and Minnie Lawhorn Sr. (Sharp); his son Mark Lawhorn; and his siblings, L. C. Lawhorn, Rod Lawhorn and Jane Dowdy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Tapley) of Knox; his daughters, Trisha Vician of Montana, Toni Dean (Phillip) of Argos, Tara Taylor (Tony) of Hamlet and Cassi Kring of Michigan; his grandchildren, Dustin, Kristie, Dalton, Ashley and Katelyn; his siblings, Mick Lawhorn (Sharon) of Marshall, IN and Helen Sims (J. B.) of Clinton, IN; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lawhorn of Bainbridge, IN. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
