It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Morrissey of Hamlet, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward P. Morrisey and Marie Morrisey (Shiel); his wife Rosemary Kelly; his daughter Michaeleen Schreiber (Morrissey); and his grandson Christopher Schreiber.
He is survived by: his son Edward "Moe" Morrissey Jr. (Carol) of LeClare, IA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
The family wishes any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
