He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Hatter and Thelma Bailey Hatter; and his brother Rick Hatter. He is survived by: his wife Patty Insco; his children, Stephanie Bunton (Brett), Bill Hatter (Theresa) and Tony Hatter; his siblings, Dave Hatter (Denee), Ron Hatter (Lisa) and Laurie Hayn (Dale); his sister-in-law Wendy Hatter (Mark Ley); his aunts, Dorothy Caudill (Corbin) and Carolyn Banfy (Paul); and his mother-in-law Rosie Insco. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Rannells Funeral Home to assist with Dan's final expenses.
