She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pruitt and Sarah Pruitt (Phillips); and her brother Homer H. Pruitt. She is survived by: her spouse Charles Dickson; and her sons, Regie Dickson (Frances) of Laporte, IN and Phillip Dickson (Debra) of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
