She was predeceased by: her parents, Birdie Bell and Mary Bell (Culver); and her husband John W. Speis. She is survived by: her children, John W. Speis (Laura), Sally Gee (Greg) and Betsy Speis; her grandchildren, Annie Speis, Jonathon Speis, Aaron Dicks, Madelyn Gee and Brandon Gee (Katie); her great grandchildren, Theodora, Harrison and Jonathan; her sisters, Betty Hermann (Fred) and Phyllis Newcomb (Kenneth); and her sister-in-law Carol "Honey" Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
