He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Schiffli and Juanita Schiffli (Sanders); his siblings, John Schiffli, Tom Schiffli, Stephen Schiffli and Theresa Schiffli; and his siblings-in-law, Don Hamman, Rose Schiffli, Donna Schiffli and Kay Schiffli.
He is survived by: his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Melba Schiffli of Angola. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins.
