He is survived by: his wife Brenda Ann Hasselschwert (Herr) of Hamilton; his daughters, Tara Hasselschwert and Cary Fortner (Jeff); his grandchildren, Noah Fortner, Marin Fortner, Zlatinka Fortner and Kyrie Fortner; and his sister Linda Miller (Jim) of Defiance.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or St Peter's Lutheran Church.
