He is survived by: his children, Diana Brown (Stephen) of Atlanta, IN, Steven Bales (Gregg Covey) of St. Marys, GA, Bob Bales (Jane) of Georgetown, IN and LeeAnn Criswell (Rob) of Etna Green, IN; his sisters, Sondra Oakerson (Vernon) of Losantville and Martha Griffin (Larry) of Muncie; his sister-in-law Naida Bales of Mooreland; and his grandchildren, Erin Allen, Trevor Brown (Stephanie), Justin Brown (Ashley), Jeremy Bales, Jacob Bales (Danielle), Jordan Bales (Kristen) of Donald, Brittany Davidson (Kayla Jenkins) and Cody Davidson (Hannah). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
