She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Rickerd and Letha Rickerd (Enzor); her husband Cecil Duane Whitman; her grandson Scott Whitman; her son-in-law Jerry Strock; and her sister Norma Koeppe.

She is survived by: her children, Janalee Ulm (Terry), Sherri Strock of Butler and Jerry Whitman of Hamilton. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
