He was predeceased by: his parents, Joanne Underwood (Winkleman) and Herbert Underwood; his brother John Underwood; his in-laws, William and Joan Dunmead; and his brothers-in-law, William Dunmead Jr. and James Dunmead.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Dunmead); his children, Christy and David; his grandchildren, Kyrah and James Underwood; his sister Sharon Yoshimoto (Nelson); and his siblings-in-law, Becky Underwood, David Dunmead (Susan) and Peggy Dunmead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the DeKalb County Humane Society in Indiana.
