James H. Gill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James H. Gill of Hamilton, Indiana, born in East Bernstadt, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Freeda B. Lewis (Seeley); and his siblings, Benny Gill, Dorothy Finn, Shirley Linkous and Faye Proffit.
He is survived by: his father Morgan Taylor Gill; his daughter Sarah Hilgeman (Tom); his grandsons, Brady, Tyler and Cooper; and his siblings, Vina Wallace, Joyce Sawyers (Chuck), Janice Lange, Edwin McCracken (Maggie), Judy Rudder, Connie Alcorn (Paul), Anthony Gill, Nora Lee Gill, Johnny Gill, Nancy Harper (Roy) and Wayne Gill (Missy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
