She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Searing and Evelyn (Przybylski); and her brother Russell Searing. She is survived by: her husband William Galles; her sons, Joseph Galles (Tara), Kevin Galles (Sandra), Robert Galles (Maria), Steven Galles and Jeffrey Galles (Lindsey); and her siblings, Mary Ann Searing and Allen Searing. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and one great–granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Diane's name to any of her favorite charities: Birthright of Kokomo.
