He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Lauer and Lydia Backes Lauer; his children, Lori Fultz (Robert) and Eric Lauer (Kathy) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Erin, Luke and Lauren Lauer; his siblings, Ruth Triplett and Arnie Lauer; and his wife Julia. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
