He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Amick and Lois A. Amick (Freland); his stepfather Lytle P. Boyd; his wife Beverly Amick; and his grandson Jamie Hobbs.

He is survived by: his daughter Denise McIntire (Greg); his grandchildren, Lee McIntire and Katie McIntire; his great grandchildren, Natalie Hobbs, Tad Hobbs and Reilly Hobbs; and his granddaughter Courtney Hobbs.
