He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Banta (Neal); his grandparents, U. G., Mabel Neal, Dallas and Della Banta; and his cousin Eli Neal.
He is survived by: his father Robert Banta of Springport; his wife Amy Banta (Werking); his children, Madalyn, Nathan and Cecilia Banta; his uncle Rick; his aunt Debra Neal; his cousins, Chad Neal and Jaime Miller; and his parents-in-law, Tom and Tammy Werking.
