He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jackie Eugene and Carolyn Elaine Swoveland (McCord); his wife Jenny; and his siblings, Sandee Scott (Rodney), Tom Swoveland, Dee Taylor (Mike) and Chris Swoveland (Kim). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
