He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Monaghan and Elsie Ardell Monaghan (Seekamp); his children, Julia and Thomas; and his brother Richard Monaghan.
He is survived by: his wife Augusta Monaghan; his daughter Kim Monin (Jim); his granddaughters, Sarah and Amy; his brother Patrick Monaghan; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Monaghan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
