It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Shelton (Hagerstown, Indiana), born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away on May 10, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shelton and Juanita Shelton (Davis); and his sister Claudia Payne. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shelton (Cruse); his children, David Shelton (Joy), Kim Parsons (Ben) and Shiloh Shelton (Kathy); his stepchildren, Christie Middleton, Mike Hites, Samantha Gard and John Baumer; and his siblings, Willard "Bud" Shelton of Richmond, Kenny Shelton (Karen) of Centerville, Joan Hatfield of Cambridge City, Debbie Flanagan of New Castle, Max Shelton (Valerie) of Hagerstown, Shirley Dale (Dallas) and Mary Johnson (Charles) of Richmond. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
