He was predeceased by: his father James H. Sturgeon. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Sturgeon (Davis) of Greenwood; his wife Jane Sturgeon; his children, Daniel Sturgeon of Hagerstown, James Sturgeon (Amanda) of Conway, SC and Leslie Moore (Peter) of Carmel; his brother David Sturgeon (Cindy) of Indianapolis; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Upchurch of Richmond and Barb Allen Turner (Brian) of Richmond. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
